The process of DIY in writing and publishing has been many things . . .
It has definitely taken me outside my comfort zone, far outside. I had no idea of what, when and how my beginning was the place to start. There have been delays that weren’t planned for and some miss direction, but even getting off track has proven beneficial in the long run. (Some friends of mine call this my rose colored glasses outlook on life.)
This summer while others are on vacation, and some are going to school, I am working on completing a project. There are three waiting to be finished. No deadline looms ahead of me either. I learned better than to tell myself what and when I am going to be done; I don’t work well that way. No inner struggle of pushing hard and dragging my feet at the same time for me this summer.
I will check in and let you know how it is going. For now, start finding time to do more of the things that you enjoy. Relax, have fun this summer!
